How it Works

You get a big haul of top quality beef for a fabulous price – about $7.30/lb for your finished steaks, roasts, brisket, burgers and ground beef.

First, you decide on a half, quarter, or eighth of a steer. We take it to our local processor who determines the hanging weight before processing. You call them with your preferred cuts, then pick it up, paying the processor at about $1.10/lb hanging weight for the processing. You pay Loehr Dairy separately for the meat, at $3.30/lb hanging weight OR you can choose to pay $700 set price for a quarter (plus processing). A paid by pound quarter ends up costing about $990 for approximately 135 pounds of beef.
