How it Works

You get a big haul of top quality beef for a fabulous price – about $6.60/lb for your finished steaks, roasts, brisket, burgers and ground beef.

First, you decide on a half, quarter, or eighth of a steer. We take it to our local butcher who determines the hanging weight before processing. You call the butcher with your preferred cuts, then pick it up, paying the butcher at about $1.00/lb hanging weight for the processing. You pay Loehr Dairy separately for the meat, at $3.00/lb hanging weight. A quarter costs about $900 for approximately 135 pounds of beef.
